Beware of Crocodiles at Golf Course

ATTENTION TO OUR GOLF MEMBERS AND GUESTS


There was a reported crocodile attack on Tuesday 28th March 2023 (7:30am) at Hole #2 pond. The incident occurred between the bridge and the #2 green.

The incident has been reported to the Golf Admin Office and the Main Club, and investigations are taking place. The golfer suffered bite marks but was fortunate to not have sustained serious injury.

The Club Management is reviewing the areas and will be working jointly with relevant authorities to come up with more proactive measures to address the crocodile issues.

There are warning signs in and around golf course areas that crocodiles’ sightings have been reported at various course pond areas over the years and crocodiles have been removed on occasions.

We would like to remind members to keep a safe distance from the pond’s edge and continue to keep a look out for the crocodiles.
