PURPOSE OF SECTION

  • Promote recreational 4WD trips within the Panaga club

  • Enjoy the great off pavement tracks that Brunei has to offer

  • Organize and support charitable activities with 4WD theme

  • Organize regular drives / 4WD events:

  • Family oriented overnight camping trips

  • Multiday overland cross boarder drives subject to border re-opening (example: Bario food festival)

  • Technical trail drives requiring heavily modified 4WD

  • Organize application for access road permits for member events

  • Provide platform for new joining members to find members with same interest

  • Form co-pilot/pilot teams to participate in formal events organized by other clubs

(e.g. Brunei Jungle Quest, Borneo Safari, etc.)

  • Liaison point for other 4WD clubs in Brunei and abroad


    WHO IS WELCOME?

    • Anybody that either owns a 4WD or wants to tag along as a passenger

    • Children are welcome on family oriented trips but have to be accompanied by an adult

    • Trips will be graded into 4 levels:

    • Easy off pavement routes accessible with unmodified 4WD vehicles

    • Moderate tracks requiring vehicles with mud terrain tyres and high ground

    CLEARANCE

    • Technical tracks requiring modified vehicles with mud terrain tyres, suspension lifts, winch, snorkel, etc.

    • Competition

    •   Trips with minimum three cars to provide redundancy
