Demolition Work at Kuala Belait Boat Club (KBBC)
Dear Members
After many years hosting the KBBC it is with much regret that we announce the upcoming demolition of the KBBC Restaurant building (next to Belait River in KB). In recent years the building has become increasingly more challenging to maintain with major structural issues and it is no longer viable with demolition scheduled to take place in November-December 2024.
Please note that other operational areas, such as the KBBC sheds and jetty, will remain in place during this time. KBBC activities, including diving, fishing, and river cruises, will continue as usual during the demolition, although access may be limited and will be managed by the team.
PLEASE OBSERVE ALL SAFETY SIGNS AND BARRIERS DURING THE DEMOLITION WORKS!
The relocation plan for KBBC power boats, river cruises, fishing, and diving to another site on the river in Kuala Belait is currently in progress, with further announcements to follow.
Other KBBC activities, such as sailing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and water tubing, will continue at the Panaga Club beach area.
