Tennis Updates: Fun Events Ahead and Important Booking Rule Change

Fellow Tennis Enthusiasts,

Hope everyone has had a chance to play on the resurfaced Courts 1 & 2. In appreciation of your patience and support, we will host a Tennis Fun Day for our PCTA members; see below. You are also invited to the Mixed Doubles finals social event and opportunity to be selected to play in the Diamond Jubillee Tournament on behalf of PCTA in Bandar. Please note the immediate changes to the Booking Rules due to too many ‘no show’ over the last few months. Thank you.

Mixed Double Finals – On 9 November from 5:30-7 pm, please come and watch the final round with your fellow PCTA members and celebrate with a makan and awards ceremony.

Tennis Fun Day – On 28-29 November from 6-9 pm, PCTA members may join us for Team Tennis matches with other tennis fun, games, and makan; no cost to PCTA members.

Diamond Jubilee Tournament – On 5-15 December in the evenings, selected PCTA members will play a co-ed Team Tennis format in Bandar; no cost to PCTA members. Please look for a subsequent email from Ariel with sign up details.

**Effective immediately, the membership number used to make a booking must belong to the member (not family member/partner/friend) who is present on the court at the time of play. This means that you cannot use a spouse’s or any other non-playing member’s number to make additional bookings. Also, in case of a “No Show” of the member who has booked the court, the first offense will result in a warning and any additional offenses will result in a $10 fee charged to the member’s PC account. Please note there is no fee for being a PCTA member or court booking fee; meanwhile, neighboring club’s have such fees. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain fair access for everyone.
