Youth Club

Welcome to the Panaga Youth Club! We are a social club open to young people of 10 years & above.

PYC was created  so  that  pre-teens  could have  a  safe  environment  in  which  to  meet  and  have  fun  with  their  friends.  The  Club  meets at Jungle House on every scheduled Friday from 6:30 until 8:30 pm, and is run by parent volunteers. There are different activities each week.

The mission of the PYC is to give older Panaga children a laidback and welcoming place where they can hang out and mingle with their friends.  Outdoors, we have football and badminton.  The games room is equipped permanently with table football, table hockey, table tennis and a snooker table.  The activities on offer include Hangout Nights, Karaoke Nights, Movie Nights, Skateboard Park Nights, Cinema Nights, Bowling Nights and Splashdown Nights.

Snacks are provided via a tuck shop, but not a proper dinner, unless a special event has been arranged beforehand and you have been notified.

Membership is open to children of Panaga Club members.  The subscription is B$10.00 per month per child.
Visitors are charged a B$5.00 guest membership per visit which must be signed on a chit at Youth Club on that day.  The host member takes ALL RESPONSIBILITY for their guest.

The Youth Club Panaga depends upon its committee members and parents to operate.  When signing up for Youth Club parents are scheduled in advance by the committee to do Youth Club Duties twice a term.  This involves supervising the children on the assigned evening and assisting in any activities that have been organised.  Each term Parents are asked in advance if they have any particular activities or dates they would like to supervise at Youth Club.  The committee try to always take parent requests into consideration however, upon the issuing of the roster, it then becomes the responsibility of the parents on duty to take ownership of organizing the assigned activities and finding a replacement, should they become unable to do their duty.  Parents who do not turn up to their assigned duties will be noted and risk their child not being able to participate in YC Panaga.
