Tip Of The Week - Gardens

Talk to your gardeners about disposing of your garden cuttings somewhere else than the pile along the side of the road, to allow it to naturally decompose rather than be landfilled. This also helps create a natural environment for bugs etc that are important parts of the food-chain.

Think about whether you would be ok with a reduced frequency for your gardening/grass cutting, every three weeks instead of every two weeks means 1/3 less pollution from the portable mowers and cutters, less use of plastic cutting strings. Every four weeks makes an even bigger impact!
