It’s our absolute pleasure to warmly welcome you into our family at Panaga Dance Centre. Our team is thrilled to see many familiar faces return to  our classes and even more excited to see some new faces join our group. 

We invite you to read the PDC guidelines and help us with your collaboration during the next year classes.

PANAGA DANCE CENTRE GUIDELINES

DRESS CODE
Students will not be allowed to attend class if they are not in the proper attire.

Hip Hop

  • Leggings/shorts

  • For all ballet classes, hair must be secured in ballet-style bun with hairnet if you have it.

    • For all other dance classes, hair must be secured in a bun or ponytail off the face.

    • We have discontinued Music and Movement class, instead, all Music and Movement students will be a part of Tippy Toes Class.

The PDC Dance Shop has leotards, ballet skirts, pink tights, tan tights, hairnets, bobby pins,  ballet shoes, jazz shoes, character shoes, hip hop shirts and limited jazz pants for purchase.

Dance attire, jazz sneakers, jazz shoes, contemporary shoes and point shoes can also be ordered from Capezioasia.com they ship DHL to Brunei with in 1 to 2 weeks

ARRIVING

Please be ready 5-10 minutes prior to the start of class and change into proper clothes and shoes before entering class.


Students who arrive more than 10 minutes late will not be permitted to attend class.

REGISTRATION

A Registration Form must be completed for every student before enrolling in any lessons or participating in any trial classes. A monthly fee is going to be charged to your Panaga Club account.

* Please note that if your child has 2 ballet classes a week, you will be charged twice.

Due to exams taking place in March, no new students will be accepted into ballet classes after the 31st of October, we will start accepting new ballet students after the March exams.

EXAMINATION

An external examiner from UK will conduct the RAD examination for our ballet students in March.  The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is a recognized worldwide Examination board specializing in dance education and training, with an emphasis on Classical ballet.


All RAD examination details will be announced before the December holidays.

BEHAVIOR POLICY

We are committed to educate our students, model behaviors, and help dancers grow with love and respect in this program. If for any reason a student does not meet the expectations outlined above, Panaga Dance Centre enforces a 3-strike policy with regard to students misbehaving during class.


– Strike 1  a warning; student is still able to participate in dance class.
– Strike 2  a in class time-out, student will be asked to sit to the side of the classroom and observe. The instructor will determine the length of time for the time-out.
– Strike 3 student will be asked to sit down at the side and wait until the class is over. In the case of a Strike 3, the teacher will talk to both student and parent about behavior issues.

GENERAL POLICIES

  • Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your child.

  • No gum chewing in the class at any time

  • Every child needs to bring their water bottle, but No Food is allowed.

  • Observation is permitted from the waiting room windows when the instructor chooses to open the curtains. Please refrain from peeking through the door or opening the curtains yourself. This is a distraction to teachers and students.
